Jordan Baskin is a rising young pianist in the American music scene. Jazz has been his primary focus for years, although he has developed a passion for classical music as well as other genres. After completing high school, Jordan was offered a scholarship to attend Indiana University’s School of Music. There he received guidance from renowned jazz scholar Dr. David Baker, and classical training from Evelyne Brancart. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Jordan returned to Chicago to pursue a career within the music industry.

Since college, Jordan has maintained a very active work schedule with his musical endeavors. Some notable names Jordan is performing with currently or in the past include: Rob Scheps, Howard Levy, Mike Arnopol, Steve Davis, Dennis Carol, Marlene Rosenberg, George Fluddas, Kelly Sill, Hinda Hoffman, Jeff Parker, Patrick Harbison, Jamie Abersold, Zach Brock, Joel Adams, Berkeley Fudge, the Tommy Bradford band and the Johnny Style’s Band. Jordan has had many career highlights including international tours to Europe and Canada along with multiple Midwest tours, attendance to the Banff International Jazz Workshop and Steans Institute at Ravinia.
