Kenny Alphonso Gray began his singing and theatrical career at an early age. Kenny studied voice with John Robert Powers and Lena Mclin early on and later attended Columbia College where he studied Musical Theatre. His vocal range is extensive and reminds one of the R&B sounds of the 60’s and 70’s but with a modern twist! Kenny’s theatrical roles as lead or support include: Antigone, Respect, Interpretaions, The Opera-Cavalleria, Rusticana, Ain’t no Love, and the Devil and the Choir. Kenny also had a supporting role in the film Hoodlum directed by Bill Duke and starring Lawrence Fishburne. Kenny recently filmed commercials for Lanakila productions and Total Living Networks (TLN). While performing in the subway, a Clay Dog Records rep spotted him and convinced him to record a rendition of Lift Every Voice and Sing for the nationally released Street Dreams CD. Here is a list of some of Mr. Gray’s performance highlights:

Kenny’s is presently the lead vocalist in the John Style’s jam band. For more information on Kenny Gray please contact info@bnotemusic.com
